WAVA is the association that registers, regulates and represents virtual airlines operating within the flight simulation community. Founded in 2023, it maintains the common operational standards, the official register of member airlines and the calendar of joint sessions and events.

Mission of the Association
The World Aviation Virtual Association exists to provide the virtual aviation community with a common regulatory framework: consistent operational standards, a trustworthy register of member airlines, transparent event scoring and a permanent forum for cooperation between organisations. The Association does not operate flights; it establishes the rules under which its members do.
